How do I know how much topsoil I need for my project?

To determine how much topsoil you need to purchase for your project, you’ll need to measure the area you plan to cover in square meters and decide how thick how a layer you want, we recommend 10cm.

Once you have these measurements, you times the area by the depth. For example, if you need to cover an area of 50 square meters with a depth of 10 centimeters, you would use 50 sq. m. x 0.1 m depth = 5 cubic meters. This is equivalent to 5,000kg or 5 bags of our bulk top soil.

How do I store any leftover topsoil for future use?

If you have leftover topsoil from your project, you can store it for future use. Here are some tips on how to store topsoil properly:

Keep the topsoil in a dry, covered area to prevent it from getting wet and becoming unusable.
Store the topsoil on a hard, level surface, such as concrete, to prevent it from settling or becoming uneven.
If possible, cover the topsoil with a tarp or plastic sheeting to protect it from rain and other elements.
Before using the stored topsoil, give it a good mix to break up any clumps and ensure it is evenly distributed.

How do I use top soil in my flower beds?

Before using topsoil in a specific area for gardening or landscaping, you’ll need to prepare the area properly. Here are some steps to follow:

Clear the area of any debris such as rocks, weeds, or other unwanted materials.
Loosen the soil in the area by tilling it or digging it up to a depth of at least 15-20 cm. This will help to improve soil drainage and allow for better root growth.
